In a graduate level manufacturing class (2.810 - Manufacturing Processes and Systems, Fall 2021), I worked in a small group (5 students) to build 5 cars. In the process, we practiced a variety of manufacturing techniques (injection molding, thermoforming, water jet cutting, milling, turning, 3D printing), iterated on the mechanical design, and ultimately raced the RC cars against classmates.
